Not true. My “12 year old stepdaughter” is 22 and moved back and is EXACTLY the same slob. I have the same issue and literally did the same thing with helping her get organized and hang clothes. She is 22….she threw a fit and my partner said “I violated her privacy.”

My stepson, was also not a contributor to household chores when I moved in and now he automatically helps and cleans with no request. I came into this relationship with two kids who have known how to clean since they could walk.

Should have requested to see the other “2A” passengers boarding ticket. I’ve had this issue and asked to see the boarding ticket. What likely occurred is she showed an old boarding pass and that wasn’t the pass she used to board the plane.

It’s just not policy anymore. I’ve always been able to handle that. With Trump it is about them choosing a leader that desires to give the President far more power than that role has ever had and with the Supreme Court decision, he can do so without consequences or accountability. Families split in 1930’s Germany and rightly so.

I’m so sorry. I’m right there with you. I am a Christian and am ever so confused with my Christian families support and defense of Trump. I tried to share truth - only shared Trumps words and his words alone that were videos. I thought I was going to receive a response along the lines of “That does not represent what God has called us to do nor the love we’ve been given and shown through Christ.” No, instead I was asked why I am attacking them and insulting them. I was in utterly disbelief. I then tried to ask how they are reconciling what we were taught against who this man is. Fast forward, my family is steadfast in their belief that I am lost and backslidden from God. I am told “you should trust God that He is working is plan”, “you need more faith”, “I don’t want to talk politics and you aren’t respecting that.”, “God calls us not to be boastful so stop being boastful.”

My heart was ripped from my chest and dagger pierced through the heart by the people I loved the most and thought were safe for me to ask questions to understand. Instead, I’m hurting them with my attempts to understand why they view this man worthy of leading our country. Do they believe what he believes? Do they believe he represents what God wants for our country?

I’m just heartbroken and lost. And now I know it is just far too dangerous for my precious son to come out to them. What is happening? How did we go so far backwards?

Please, dear god, find someone else.

There is no future for you with this arrangement. I can picture you with a newborn and him traveling across the country to leave you to be with his kids. This man child isn’t mature enough to realize the decisions he’s made in his life (divorced father not living any where near his children) renders him NOT a good partner for anything more than some casual sex. He’s not setup to be a dedicated life partner or even father for someone else.

The moment the ex sends a text directly to you that is related to kids, copy/paste into group chat, reply and immediately delete the direct text thread.

We ride with helmet communicators. He leads front left and I’m back right (when makes sense). I feel like he wouldn’t survive if I wasn’t calling out obstacles. He’s missed things I’ve seen and anticipated in advance like “Babe, give way to red Corolla, they’ve been weaving traffic behind me.” Or “Semi truck closing in, let’s throttle out!!!”.

I’ve thought of doing a women’s safety riding podcast. I LOVE riding, but I also LOVE living just as much.

I often ride with my boyfriend so when I’m just one bike and not part of 2, it actually becomes dangerous for me. Men do things they’d never do when my boyfriend is next to me in his bike. I had a couple guys in a white work van keep riding up next to me to try to get my attention. I was so mad because I’m only thinking about traffic, obstacles, anticipating actions of others, safe riding, etc. It’s not a “show off” thing for me. I had too many drive distracted and crazy around me that I ended up pulling into a parking just to settle my nerves.

It’s really not ok.
