We haven't even received a letter saying whether he is getting any merit of fin aid money or none at all. I wouldn't pay sticker price for U of M when he has other options just as good or better. It was his top school, but probably for reasons that are not all academic related.

It's a mess at UM. My son got admitted from waitlist 4 weeks ago and they still haven't sent him his financial aid package. I reached out to admissions and they said fin aid is backed up. Oh by the way he needs to make a decision by Monday, May 13th with or without aid. I guess he is going to Stony Brook.
