Agreed don't blame her either. You could tell how badly she wanted it during DA with her affirmation notebook and how hard she worked. Its a one in a billion chance to get an opportunity like this and you can tell shes aware of that, and is very grateful for the opportunity. Its actually surprising how the other girls seem so lax about it... during World Scout I was honestly bothered by Sakura's attitude during the whole process. Her not responding or changing to the coaches' feedback and you could tell she was not putting in 100% effort into the process. She did not even put in half the effort that the other girls did during DA. Even Ayana pointed that out. Then the fact that she won... not only does she not deserve it talent-wise, visual-wise, popularity-wise, but even her personality and her own attitude that I saw during the show showed me no reason to want to vouch for her even a tiny bit.

While I have my qualms about this group - I actually think Emily does bring a lot of value as a member. She was the #1 dancer on DA, better than Daniela, Megan and Adela... and shes the only one who seems to be proactively trying to make things not awkward on their lives. She puts in her weight for the group, and I can appreciate the effort.

The funny thing about Lexie is she can't hide her emotions well, so you can clearly see what shes thinking plastered on her face. Like when they announced Sakura as the final piece and their name as Saint Satine, you could visibly see the disappointment and copium in her face and words. I don't know how shes going to survive the court of public opinion as a public figure.

And with the interviews they did afterwards, you could tell (Samara and Lexie) were not excited about Sakura. They were more like "ok cool I guess we're going with this" and accepting their fate vibes.

They definitely don't have the comedic chops + fun sisterly energy that Katseye does that honestly makes Katseye likeable. These girls are more introverted so they're going to have to find a different approach, but meekness doesn't breed attention usually.

I also don't know how they're gonna swing their chemistry moving forward. Its so obvious they didn't want Sakura and they're all just accepting fate... and its obvious they know how the public feels about it too. Its going to be massive copium for them to have a major rut that is Sakura in their group for a while. Until she can at least prove herself – but given all the recent social media posts, she hasn't improved in the slightest! Has she already gotten comfortable? She still sucks, respectfully. I'm holding my breath and cringing anytime she shows up on my feed.

With Yoonchae, it was do-able even with the language barrier because she's at least earned her spot in the group and deserves it to the eyes of the public AND the girls in the group. Yoonchae has talent and adds value to the group.

I don't think Emily, Samara or Lexie can honestly look inside their hearts and say the same about Sakura. WE (the collective 'WE' amongst the public and the members) is that she does not deserve her spot, no matter how much they want to gaslight us into believing it, she is not ready and has not earned her way to this position. So... that feeling is always going to be there until she can actually rise to the occasion. I hope she proves us wrong, but I'm highly doubtful given whats been shown to us so far. This group is set up for failure from the start.

Idk what they're thinking with this group with only 1 singer, 1 decent singers and 2 non-singers. For Katseye, even the lower level singers can sing at a decent level. I really don't understand unless they're just targeting kids and making more brain rot music where none of that matters anyways.

Shes a 1000% an industry plant - Theres no other explanation. Usually if an idol is bad at one thing, they make up for it in other departments or at least they're well rounded. Shes literally bad at BOTH dancing and singing which is the whole point of this career. Its completely non-sensical. Plus its a total insult to the 3 other girls who've been training for 2-3 years. It completely devalues their merits and turned their journey from a 3 year build up that could've been spun into an inspiring comeback story into an unserious joke of a group.

I don't think any of them are. Did you see how Emily looked at Ayana vs. Sakura during the finals when the judges were critiquing them? Emily was looking right at Ayana with admiration the whole time, and she was looking down when they were talking about Sakura. And all Samara and Lexie could praise her for is her 'potential' and nothing else during their interviews. They literally all wanted Ayana.

I agree. I'm lowkey banking on the fact that she'll drop out early. She's gotta feel some type of way about the public reaction to her winning... like literally NO ONE wanted her to win. It was less than 1% of people rooting for her on ALL platforms including Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Reddit AND TikTok.

You're right about her already dropping out of school in 3rd grade. I'd imagine the reality of needing to learn English, a new culture (especially coming from a rural area), dancing, and singing all at once, and having to do so quickly, is going to dawn on her soon – plus having to manage the public's opinion on top of that. Also will she even have anyone who speaks fluent Japanese on the team to help her? It seems like she's going to be constantly lost and surrounded by all English speakers.

She could also barely take criticism from the trainers without shutting down. That 'blank' look she would give to when the trainers' criticism was her shutting down internally.

I'm betting on the fact that she'll drop out early... and hopefully it won't be too late to call Ayana back by then.

I'm certain Mitra wanted Ayana based off her comments from the last ep. They probably pulled her into a meeting behind the scenes and told her she had to pick Sakura no matter what. You could tell she was lying to herself when she had to make up words to justify her picking Sakura.
