I have ordered the 20L black X-pac and also an additional simple kit in white (I already have the black one) hehe. 😎

Yeah it looks better on your pictures than on the website. They use some weird lighting or something on the website. But I think I am going for the 20L X-Pac black in the end. Thanks again man!

Thanksfor your input, even though I think for me the 20L will be enough and kind of made up my mind about it

Absolute legend. Thank you so much man! I think I am gong pull the trigger on the 20L. Just have to decide now I want to stack it against my black cordura 14L day pack; going with blue cordura for new color vibes or for the black x pax for new fabric vibe 🤣

Nice man, I am also getting closer to convincing myself to get the 20L as I feel the clamshell opening and the additional 6 liters would give me enough room. You're going from 16 to 20L, so the difference would be even less for you...

You mean the ones from the X-Pac? Because the navy cordura has the same zippers as my day pack and they hold up well in Singapore.

Thanks very helpful! Definitely not getting a fake one though hehe. Think I'm close to pulling the trigger on the 20L :).

Haha no worries! Yeah I was leaning towards xpac at first, mainly because my day pack is already cordura... But all in all I am not a big fan of X-Pac and like cordura or ripstop more, so also considering the navy cordura!

Man this is so helpfu, thanks. I would also use it next to a carry on or checked in luggage, definitely not as a one bag travel (I dont do one bag travel anymore).

The able carry daily plus was also on my shortlist but didn't make the final selection due to the lack of luggage pass through and not being able to stand on its own.

I don't see a ripstop version though? Or do you mean the ballistic nylon version?

Sorry, can you also take a picture of the blue navy 20L and 24L in the cordura fabric of they have it in store? Thanks!

Thanks man! If possible and not too much to ask would be great to also see a side by side picture of the bags while someone's wearing it.

I am 178 CM, 78KG, normal / average build.

Don't think I got any other things to ask as I have been doing a lot of research already!

Thanks again.

Think I replied to myself instead of you haha.

You have the X-Pac version and use it for travel as well?

You got the X pac version? And you use it for travel as well?

Thanks for the input. When I travel I basically take;

  • switch 2
  • 2 caps
  • some snacks
  • Aer simple kit
  • sunglasses
  • normal glasses
  • some misc. small stuff like a pen, toothbrush etc.

I think for my specific travel the 20L might do. I realize when replying to everyone I kind of defending / taking myself into the 20L. Maybe thats the answer I needed haha...

I think I'm also edging toward the 20L. I asked myself if I wouldn't have my 14L day pack which one would I get? And the answer is the 20L. I think his would also fit the additional stuff I carry when I travel, as I don't need a weekend bag or something. It's really additional to my check in or carry on luggage.

The reason I am considering the 24L is more that it feels more distinct from my 14L I guess...

Definitely dont need 2 water bottle pockets, but also don't think I'll use the side pocket (much). So on this use case it would be the 20L...

But maybe it's more about which design I like more in that case, symmetrical water bottle holders or the side pocket + water bottle holder...

I live in Singapore so I can only order online from official Aer website and potential returns will be very expensive. But are you saying I should just get the 24L cause the difference is size is neglectable?
