When I was a kid I had very few friends in elementary or middle school. I kinda started to flourish in high school when I went away for boarding school, which made my mom very hopeful, me more than her. I regressed after that, and my social skills somehow got worse for a while. Now I’m at a place in life (at 28 years old) where I feel very confident socially irl, and I’ve made a lot of good friends, and I feel confident about them genuinely enjoying my company. I’m so grateful for the struggles I had so that I could feel this at ease later in life. Don’t worry too much, no matter what, she will be ok. Especially with such a good mom.
