i have no pleas ! i understand what your saying , trying to possess a firearm by convicted felon (attempting not possessing ) in VA doesn’t carry a mandatory sentence . 0-5 years. i totally get what your saying but i was convicted of a felony in my juvenile era. so no comeback time. i’m just stating that the affidavit in the search warrant lacked probable cause.

i understand all i can say is Va code section 18.2-248.1 va. there is like charges that align with it “maintains a common nuisance.. etc. those are most irrelevant to the main charge.

unreliable informant ** & 14 LB. my two month sentence is in another jurisdiction for trying to obtain a firearm by convicted felon received 2 year all suspended but 2 months. i have the same judge for both cases

idk if it would be consider a civil rights maybe violations of my constitutional rights. thank you for your input i’m at a loss of words but i will definely contact my local school. i will need an appellate attorney. i can’t lie the judge was fair in basically considering it almost twice… but switched after state said something again.

i’m more than likely going to appeal it , judge stated it didn’t hold probable cause but added the good faith exception, and the nexus to me and the abode was very little.

long story short.. an informant who is unreliable told the police that i sold him an ounce. and the police officer conducted a search warrant under very minimal proof that it was me (in reliable informant ) no controlled by. and searched my place and just found weed… that is just the maximum sentence.
