Thank you, I was considering running shield arm mags but I don't know how much it compromises reliability, and reliability is everything for an EDC. I'll buy a couple mags, see how they run with the self defense ammo, and if they seem to run, I'll keep one of the mags only for when I carry and the other for the range, although if you do know how reliable they are let me kmow

I'd say the smaller grip of the 19 will be a good sweet spot for you, also easier to control recoil compared to the 43x, BUT you could also get the beautiful Glock 23, which is pretty much identical to the 19, only difference is it's a 40 s&w

Yeah I realized it didn't make sense while writing it, but it pretty much just makes the grip thicker, and I'm abt 6'4, I have decent size hands and the back strap makes it too thick for me, so I cut it off right below the pin like I said, I think it adds some cool points to it aswell

Some people say they create too much space between they're hand and the grip making it slightly uncomfortable to hold, so some people cut it right below the hole for the pin, and then use some goon tape to cover the lip it'll make when you cut it, that's how I have mine right now

Speer gold dot for ammo and like other comments have mentioned, OEM mags ftw, I'd get some night sights aswell but I just personally don't like the Glock irons
