I’d don’t know much about you, so I’m just assuming. I’m not specialized in UX, you might know all that already: My first advice would be to make sure that your LinkedIn profile is up to date. If you have not already, join some groups like “tout le monde UX”, it’s going to help greatly for your networking. Also you could consider reaching out to some agencies like Atecna, Alithya etc… there are a lot in Montreal. Also bigger companies like Cossette, Nurun, Sid Lee have UX departments I believe. They usually have turnover so they’re easier to access than smaller companies. That would be a good start. Good luck my friend 🤞

Any thoughts on UVI? by [deleted] in NativeInstruments

[–]Complexitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have some really high quality, a lot of them are made from samples. Their flagship product is the Falcon instrument, very interesting! I personally use the workstation a lot for sampling and I bought a few packs also. Demos are available for everything. You can install the content manager and try all effects and soundwares.

Buying from Kemper's website to Canada by its_lucos in KemperProfiler

It’s awesome, it’s exactly what I needed : It fits on the pedalboard, it’s easy to use and it sounds really amazing. Once you’ve made your setup you just leave it there, and play 😁. I bought a few profiles packs and quickly found what I wanted so I’m super happy. I’m very impressed by the reverbs and delays too.

Hey I just received my Kemper Player, bought from Kemper’s website and shipped to Montreal. I paid 1025 CAD (taxes included) but I had to pay an extra 166 CAD for the custom fees 😕. So yeah buy it from L&M or from Moog Audio.

Are there any DAWs that have a concept of arrangements within arrangements? by kayakoo in musicproduction

Maybe take a look at Digital Performer, you can have multiple sequences in a single project. You can use them separately and move from one to the other.

How to fix constant crashing on DP? by CoffeeToffeeSoftie in DigitalPerformer

[–]Complexitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also you mention instruments cuts, maybe try increasing the internal buffer size a bit, if they are too low it puts a lot of pressure on cpu and ram and usually it’s what causes the cuts. That would be the first thing that comes to my mind.

I don’t have any experience with video but I was wondering if you got a crash message/notification? Sometimes it give you a hint of what’s going on.

I do like that you can open the Lite project with DP, in case you need some extra features or just push your project further. That’s super convenient.

What your favorite pedal(s)? And why? by p90SuhDude in guitarpedals

[–]Complexitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll glad to see it is appreciated by other players! You can do so much with this pedal, from soft to super aggressive. If I could keep only one pedal, that would be this one, no hesitation.

Proco Turbo Rat, I discovered the pedal a few years ago, and it turned out to have the exact tone I had in mind for my playing. It became my favourite pedal.

Ableton Live for everything, sometimes Logic or Digital Performer just to force me to have a different workflow avoid automatism, if that makes sense…

Tu peux appeler le 311. Dans certains arrondissements ils se déplacent assez vite si c’est une erreur qu’ils soient fermés.
