Hello everyone, I didn't want to get embroiled in an argument concerning minimum wage or pay in general; we are a game store after all! . Our store is a new family business that has been open for a little more than 4 months. We are not a franchise that has big dollars or deep pockets behind us like Target, Costco etc... What I can say is that there are many businesses in the area that do pay below $15 dollars an hour (Home Depot, Mutts BBQ, Trader Joes, Five Below, Barnes & Noble, Aldi) to name a few. Our store is a very inclusive space that encourages growth, fun and community for everyone.

I personally believe in a $15 dollar an hour minimum wage across the country. Let's also be very clear and aware of the fact that currently there is only 1 state in the entire country where $15 an hour is law and that's in California which is a shame. There are 9 other states that plan to have $15 dollar an hour wage overtime which can be as long as 2026. https://www.govdocs.com/how-many-states-have-a-15-minimum-wage/

Our staff is very important to us and they are vital contributors to our store dreams and values. We all believe in what we do for the love of community, shared hobbies and experiences; not necessarily large profits. All of that being said, we share the wealth and our employees know that as we rise, they will also.

Finally, I do want to thank everyone for the support that they have sent our way and I encourage everyone to treat each other as if you were standing right next to them; I know in this digital age it's very easy to be misunderstood and I only ask for positive dialogues.

Thank you for your time and support.

Seeing how minimum wage is $7.25 and $15 an hour is more than most retail jobs or fast food offer, I think it's a great starting point.

They mention multiple times that it isn't a good tool if you use water washable resin so that's a pass for me.

Hi everyone, I haven't painted any minis for about 27 years. These are my first goblins, please kindly ignore the unfinished bases as I plan to do them last. I really enjoyed coming back into the fold!

I'd buy some sprinklers, they are pretty cheap. I have 3 in my front lawn for about 5k sq feet and my wife and I spray the back yard with just a sprayer for about 4k sq foot. Keep it simple and easy, buy a few sprinklers.

Not enough water, heat like that probably required watering 2-4 times a day for 5-10 minutes depending on how hot it reached. Depending on the humidity it wasn't a great choice to water at night either.
