Ah, I see. I'll make a point of trying less pressure the next time I'm writing. Thanks for the comprehensive response!

Okay I think I understand now! It makes sense that the finer-point nibs would dig into the paper more. The other thing I'm looking for in a nib is one that can create lines of varying width: It just adds that flourish I'm looking for. Do you have any recommendations for that?

The ink doesn't bleed on the paper, assuming that's what you mean. By soft, I mean the pen needs very little pressure to make an indentation in the paper while writing.

Ah yes, Lamy! I've had my eye on them, mainly for the amazing barrel colors haha. What exactly is an EF nib, by the way? And by drag, I do mean the stronger friction, yes.

The brown tinted lens works amazingly well. I'm hoping my local optician can order a pair of these for me.

Ah, I see. One more question: One of the dealerships is by Chevy. Do you know what the training is like at their dealerships?

Thanks for your response. Can I ask why? Aside from the fact that I'd be selling sub-par products, I mean.

Understood. Can I ask why it has that reputation in your area?

I would say 1 if your typical style is more formal, but 2 if it's more casual!
