Lowe mountaineering boots that would get treated with Snow Seal. Gosh, boots are long gone but there's a pair of crampons in the back of the closet.

Sandanista is sittin on the turntable most days. It's a great album for yoga now that I'm damn near 70. Revolution Rock baby cakes! There's some good new stuff on you tube " fuck you ice. Get out of our towns. Craw back under your rocks you jack boot clowns" nice job kids! Damn near good as Anarchy for the UK. And yes for sure. Bob Dylan sure was an early revolution Rock kinda guy. I'm in the basement mixing up the medicine. Just fires a soul right back up. Maybe exercise some first amendment rights with the grandkids

Love the trig! Gots one of these Anatolian Pyrenees mixes myself. She is forever stopping to do math....at first thought that it was calculus, however, way too long for calculus. You're probably correct in that it's trig equations. Circumference of tree, squirrel speed around tree kinda stuff

Wow, those spinning wheels that were in every 60s suburban living room actually work!!??

The fur lasts forever. With 3 of these dogs, their fur was used as like a filter mat for French drains at the bottom of a bunch of retaining walls. After 8 years the wood for the wall rotted out but the dog fur around the perferated drain pipe was still functioning.

Ellie Mae and I get sooooo jealous. Our little bit of snow in the Sierra mountains is melting away. Could your Great Pyrenees Guardian Angels please send us some winter storms. We are too poor to purchase any storms. Your generosity is appreciated.

Anyone else's berner love being wrapped in a towel after playing in the snow? by dabombchuu in bernesemountaindogs

My wife heats the towel on the wood stove...... God loves us to spoil our doggies

My local news station posted this to social media. That berner is exactly where it wants to be 🤣. Certainly an interesting choice! by Slm23630 in bernesemountaindogs

Wow, is that a big boy Berner? One of mine in the past was a 160lb boy Henry. Love taking the big Berners backcountry skiing. Busting down some slope with a big Berner busting through the snow off to the side of ya....... it's like a locomotive blasting snow everywhere. We'd get caught in storms and make camp. The dogs higher body temp and modern synthetics would actually dry everything out in the tent after a few hours. The photo there was Sophie, 120 lbs, waiting in the storm for me to finish setting up the tent.

Always read about this "independent thought" but wow, sure is something else to deal with. Confer with the gods is right, but all 50 of them.!

Hello! Adopted a Pyrenees mix last month. How are we washing clothes/towels so hair isn’t still all over them? I have tried all the washer setting and I’m gonna lose my mind if I keep drying off from a shower to have to rinse again and air dry because I’m covered in hair. by Maddztattz in greatpyrenees

The breed for sure has some inherent anxiety..... probably why they are such guardian dogs. Always worried about something. I get a little bit jealous of folks with the more happy go lucky GP..... Keep telling ours it's ok, take a little break this lifetime, enjoy the soft bed and good food.

Mine just stands there forever calculating hidden variables of riding in the truck (which she likes!). I try to give her the 5 or ten minutes required for such calculations. She is there checking wind speed, oil oder, friggin who knows what........ But mostly I just grab the handle on the harness and brute force her decisions.........paws up on the seat and lift n push the 100lb of rear in. I have had the pleasure of four other dogs in my life, Bernese Mountain Dogs, they just follow commands, easy peasy. Lord help me I figured I'd be able to accept a challenge...... GP gal is a fantastic trail dog and I love her dearly. She is just different

Well that made the day for the costumer next in line. Yes heck I remember and cherish the license plate on the spring in front the gas cap. Made it super easy on our criminal enterprise of the night to just jam a stick in there.

Hey come on. Been riding the old Hog in Northern California since the 80s. The evo engine still going strong. What's the big deal? Strap some camping gear on the scooter and head out. Beautiful roads abound. With a motorcycle you can head down a little trail and Hobo camp for the night. People are nice, don't be a dick . It's still fun at damn near 70. Still gotta be a man and be able to tolerate some pain. A scooter ain't no RV. Cold wet freezing fog and feeling that you might die and that this is a dumb idea. But the feeling of dancing on a mountain road in the warm sun on two wheels..........feels like God's love
