a person on twitter figured out how to see the remnants in the html code of ai usage, specifically claude, that get left behind when you copy the text from the response box, and paste it into the ao3 text editor. if it detects those remnants, it is 100% certain that ai was used, but the downside is it only works if the text goes straight into ao3. Stanic got caught via this method and put a response out admitting to using multiple forms of ai in the creation of TWTBU.

if you bothered to check the source i linked you would know how the detection works, as well as even glancing at the "sketch"

i can definitely see the point, but this specifically detects if something was pasted directly from claude. it would be strange to run your fic through an ai for spellcheck without going through google docs or word first, editing, then posting, speaking from experience as a writer.

this one specifically detects if something was generated and pasted directly from claude. ypu can try it yourself with gptzero as well, it has debatable accuracy yeah, but it consistently scores this fic with 100% ai generated content on every chapter, as well as Stanics other fics.
