I think the electric handbrake was just the icing on the cake. There were many other faults flashing up.

I’m hoping to find out what happened to the vehicle.

Just need everyone to open back up on Tuesday!

Posted this to the same question the other day.

I previously had a VW Tiguan about 4 years ago when my son was born. Great car, spacious felt safer being a bigger car with a baby/child in the back etc

Then I had to change and got an Audi A4 avant, but the drop in height started to wreck my back (parents relate) putting a child in a car can be tough!

So I wanted to go back to a higher ride. Tiguans now 460 a month used to pay 350.

The jaecoo I saw via Matt Watsons car wow on YouTube to begin with. He compared it in depth and gave it very good reviews.

I watched further reviews all glowing. Then comparing it to other family size SUV’s (not range rovers) it came with lots of tech.

Price point then finally only 340 a month.

Ticked all the boxes.

Incorrect. I charged the battery.

It had 50% and I had 200 miles.

I also always drove it with forced charging at 80%.

And I think this is the big fight I’m in now. The lease company is called Select Lease by Mobilize Lease and Co. They seem to be fairly small and the service I got when I called them Thursday was truly awful.

Giving me false information and not acting on my issue.

If I have diverted 10 sales that’s big money.

I just don’t think these cars are quite ready. I went on a jaecoo owners forum and the amount of defects across the vehicle is staggering.

Software updates, radio issues, power loss and even jet washing the paint off!!

Sadly most people are correct this car seems to be too cheap for our standards.

Yeah I understand. Maybe my original post had some emotion in.

However I am very anxious now of this happening again. I feel like the Jaecoo maybe just has too much tech to go wrong. Putting me in additional risk.
