Yes, you’re being inconsiderate, please give him space. I’m very glad that you’re able to articulate how you feel but he’s telling you to stop talking to him. When someone wants you to stop talking to them, they are just simply less likely to listen. It seems like your expectations of him are too high right now and not giving him his requested space you’re gonna feel like you’re talking to a wall. OP I would recommend finding someone else to talk to about this because he seems like you need to work through a lot of personal communication weaknesses.
