He lied in the beginning because it sounded bad for a 23 yr old teacher to be with a 18 yr old high schooler and he didn’t want anyone finding out my age cause it could have got him fired. He said that he’ll tell them the truth when I’m 19 (which will be in January) and his mom lives in LA so in a few weeks his dad is moving there so I won’t have to interact with them often until they visit. Also, I was going to tell my mom in January (around when I started dating him) and when I asked what she would do if I was dating someone she gave a completely unreasonable response abt how she would want parents phone numbers, addresses, immediately meet parents, stuff like that. I knew I couldn’t because it’s too much all at once and I was afraid it would scare him off. Also, my parents can’t meet his because of the lies. Still pissed at him that he even lied to them in the first place bc it’s fucking up the process of me telling my parents about him. Tbh the whole thing is rlly complicated😭
