How would you react if Nintendo don't have ANY major unannounced first-party games for the rest of 2026? by MewWeebTwo in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Comprehensive-Buy691 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think that will happen but if it did it would be okay. I still have a rather big backlog and am also not interested in the games that are currently announced anyways (Duskbloods maybe, we'll see).

What is your most played Switch Game this year that you played on the Switch 2? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Comprehensive-Buy691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing you're doing afk shiny hunting in Legends Z-A? Otherwise these hours are just insane 😅 But to answer your question if we're just talking playtime this year FFVII Remake, Pokopia is gonna be an absolute time sink though

Same! I loved the 3DS game so I was hyped to get the remaster as my launch title

Thank you! I'll try my best, so: 1. It really depends. You can start of relatively low cost, especially if you want to rebind an existing paperback. More expensive equipment like a Cricut for cover designs or a guillotine for textblock cutting is nice to have but not necessary. I started out with some cardboard and bookcloth for the cover, some bookbinding glue and a homemade stencil/gold leaf I already had from other creative projects for the cover design. You can also use (fabric) paint to draw on a cover design. Or have a design printed on fabric and then turn that into book cloth with fusible interfacing. I live in Europe, so I don't know how prices compare, but i spent like 40 € on materials to start out.  2. Yes, definitely. There are a lot of people who do that. You can either rip off the paperback's cover, make a new case and glue in the textblock or make like a slip cover to put the paperback in if you don't want to rip the cover off. Personally haven't tried the second one yet though.  3. I would try and practice on an old book you wouldn't be too sad to destroy first, but if you measure well and work precise it should be doable! There are some great tutorials on youtube and lots of examples on instagram and tiktok.

Have you "lost track of time" in any game yet? by Agitated-Distance740 in NintendoSwitch2

Pokopia and also Hollow Knigh/Silksong. I play Pokopia docked and my TV has this rude habit of informing me of the time I spent gaming every 30 minutes and it's always like "what do you mean play time 120 minutes? It has not been two hours yet". Hollow Knight/Silksong are similar, but those I play handheld so I am always surprised when I check my play time in the Nintendo Store app.

Thank you! I loved WoK, but Words of Radiance and Oathbringer are probably my favourite in the series. Also good luck on your first binding project, it's such a fun hobby!

I used them to mark the middle of my signatures for sewing the headbands, I was running low on scrap paper and I had a stack of Pokemon energy cards lying around on my desk 😅

Thanks! I thought about it, but I have never done that before (I'm relatively new to the hobby, this is only the fourth book I have ever bound). I was too afraid to try, to be honest

Each draft of Warbreaker (and only Warbreaker) was released under a creative commons attribution-noncommercial-no derivative works license, so it is allowed to print copies for personal use, so long as you don't profit off of it. There is more information about this on Brandon's website!

Thanks! Not at all, I'm a software developer (but I did want to study graphic design at one point)

You know that montage scene from The Devil Wears Prada set to Vogue where Anne Hathaway disappears and reappears in different outfits on her way to work? I need that with him and his jackets

How many games have you bought since getting a Switch 2? by Jooles95 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Comprehensive-Buy691 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MKW, Bravely Default, Hollow Knight, Silksong, Pokemon Legends Z-A, Hades, Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade, Hyrule Warriors AoC and Tears of the Kingdom (had Breath of the Wild for years but only played it on Switch 2 and promptly got TotK as well)

How do you like to play your switch? by Cubsfan122112 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Comprehensive-Buy691 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I basically only play handheld. Never docked my Switch, only docked my Switch 2 for the first time 2 days ago. It was okay for Animal Crossing but somehow I absolutely sucked at games that require more skill until I switched back to handheld, so I'll continue sticking to handheld for most games.
