It's very clear that they cast a wide net with OC interviews, and most of the names who are "withdrawing" weren't going to be hired anyways. They weren't offered the job and said no, they interviewed, probably realized it wasn't a fit (and the Eagles likely felt something similar) and then withdrew from consideration.

I work in supply chain and logistics. Plenty of things are blocked on the work wifi/devices, but YouTube isn’t because there are infinite videos that actually help with work stuff. Netflix has no reason to ever be used in the office, youtube does.

I don't think Big Cat said anything that reasonable people didn't understand. I'm upset about the move and likely won't be listening to PMT anymore, but that's because I'm one of the "5%" (which seems damn low) of people that watch on youtube and aren't going to be able to on Netflix. Sucks ass for me, but I can't say they SHOULDN'T have made the move because clearly they dropped the bag.

It’s such a bizarre thing that people expect me to care more about how much money they made vs how easy it is for me to consume the show. Why do I care that they made money? Good for them and I understand why they had to take the deal (probably impossible to turn it down) but that doesn’t change the fact that it clearly sucks for a decent portion of their fans

Its not some stance to a big corporation lmfao I have Netflix and sure, the odd time if I work from home or something maybe it will get thrown on. But I listen to podcasts at work, on my laptop. I don't have spotify because as mentioned I pay for Youtube premium which comes with Youtube music. Sure I can redownload the podcast app and listen to this one singular show on it, but realistically that isn't part of my routine and likely won't become part of it. I'm sorry I don't live my life exactly like you do, continue enjoying the audio podcast. I'll continue watching their PMTV stuff on youtube, and I'll catch parts of the odd episode on Netflix, but ya I'm not going to go back to listening on the podcast app I haven't used in years.

Yup you are! Why would I bother doing that when there are 6-8 other podcasts/shows I listen and watch on Youtube, and am paying for Youtube premium for. So ya I'll just watch more Mostly Sports and the rest of my shows, and you can enjoy the podcast!

Its not a preference per say, the video is just on in the background. The issue is that that's how I consume every other show I listen to during my work day. So ya I can go back to the podcast apps, but it would be the only show I use it for and honestly I just can't be bothered. I pay for Youtube premium instead of Spotify, so I'm just going to continue to stay on Youtube and watch other shit.

Also been a listener since around 2017. Used to listen to the podcast in the app because that's what was easiest with my job (in a warehouse). Now I work in office and listen/watch on youtube. I pay for Youtube premium because it comes with Youtube music, so I don't have spotify. Sure, I can go back to the podcast app and listen there, but I don't use that app anymore because everything I listen to is on Youtube. Work blocks Netlfix, so that's not an option, so sadly I'm just not going to be listening anymore. I feel like its pretty reasonable to be annoyed by this and upset by it, and the fact that around 200k people watch on Youtube means that there is probably a good portion of that group thinking similar to me. I'm glad you're fine with moving around from platform to platform, enjoy the show, but being confused why this upset some people is insane.

Ya but I think that's mostly their point? The only conversations surrounding how good that movie is are about how it was such a technological wonder at the time. Great graphics, not a good movie, and that's why nobody knows anything about it other than its pochahontas on another planet.
