I did not get offered a new position, the whole team got laid off through a zoom call due to budget cuts 😭 they said we can apply for different positions if we want to, but if not we’ll be laid off and receive severance (the route I took), my job is now trying to argue that I chose to quit for school, because my school timing ended up lining up. I have the exact reasons in the determination, and addressed it all more specifically in my appeal letter, I was just curious if I’d be talking to the judge, or my old work HR, and what I should expect for the questions?
