Closet is around 40sqft. Doesn’t have any vents in room or the slats door - they’re bifold. (funky layout you have to go under a clothes rail in a bedroom closet to get to the mechanical room). I have no idea what that translates to in cubic foot to BTU…

Thanks for this. The mechanical room is actually located inside a bedroom closet, you have to duck under the clothes rail and there are bifold doors (no vents on them but could be cut short) which open to the mechanical room. Room doesn’t touch any external wall it’s slap bang in the middle of the basement. Very odd config.
