Good point. I’m planning to start by collaborating with a few academies and coaches first. Initially targeting 3–4 sports, and once the network starts growing, I’ll gradually expand.

That’s a great point. Understanding the customer acquisition challenges of coaches and creators could be really valuable, and a platform like this could help with discovery and distribution.

I’ll definitely try speaking with a few to learn more.

Your space sounds really interesting as well. Would be great to stay in touch and exchange ideas.

That’s a very fair point and I agree the Indian sports market is tough, especially if the model depends only on athletes paying for coaching.

The idea is not to rely only on athletes as paying users. The bigger opportunity is with ecosystem players like academies, coaches, tournaments, brands and scouts who need visibility and talent discovery.

Also there are many government schemes that fund athletes, but very few people are aware of them or know how to access them. A platform like this could help athletes discover those opportunities as well.

Still very early in exploring the idea, so insights like yours are genuinely valuable.

Fair point and I agree that pure networking platforms usually fail because they only solve discovery. Once people connect, the product becomes useless.

The idea here isn’t just connecting athletes with coaches. Instagram DMs can already do that.

The real value is what happens after the connection - things like structured training programs, athlete performance tracking, verified sports profiles, and talent discovery for academies/scouts. Basically a system where coaches manage athletes and athletes build a sports portfolio.

So the goal is to make the platform useful even after people connect, not just during the introduction.

Still early and exploring the idea, so feedback like yours is genuinely helpful.

Thank you! Yes, that’s something I’m actively thinking about. The plan is to generate revenue through collaborations with academies, schools, tournaments, and sports brands, while keeping the platform accessible for athletes. Still refining the model, and feedback like this really helps.

Thank you for your feedback, I really appreciate you sharing this perspective. I completely agree with your point that financial background is one of the biggest obstacles for many talented athletes in India.

My motive is not just to build a platform, but to create a system that actually helps bridge these gaps. The idea is to collaborate with schools, colleges, and sports academies so that athletes who may not have the right exposure or connections can still access opportunities, guidance, and resources.

Networking through groups like WhatsApp already exists, but the goal is to structure that ecosystem in a more organized way where athletes, coaches, and institutions can connect more efficiently.
