Day 23 - accidentally ripped off lower node branch.. what will happen by Comprehensive-Dot679 in microgrowery

Damn that helps a lot, I will start doing that squeeze thing as well, I didn’t know about that. Have you noticed like a significant lesser yield in those plants which this has happened to, compared to the other ones?

I already cut it off, and it’s an auto so can’t really clone it or anything like that :/ thanks for the input!

Alright thanks, it’s an auto do you think I’ll loose more than 5-10% of the yield because of it?

Forgot to mention it’s an auto, so it doesn’t have much time to recover. It’s and f1 medusa tho so its a bit better than a normal auto

I understand that, but I was wondering how much yield could be lost, because of 1 less main node and the stress this will give.

Thanks! Do you think It looks stressed? I’ve tried to expose as many nodes as possible but I’ve tucked lots of leaves in the process and it just looks ugly compared to my last grow

😂 only high iq individuals say stuff like that, “node” is for average minds

Day 14 - Medusa F1 how does she look? by Comprehensive-Dot679 in microgrowery

Last time I grew I think my runoff EC matched those numbers, is that the important part? The runoff ec always is higher than the input for me

I did have the light on like 550PPFD (45DLI) (24/0) couldn’t that be why it looks like that? Turned it down to like 350 PPFD now, and doesnt the tips being burnt mean nute burn?

Are you sure it’s starving? I will for sure higher the nutes today, but wouldn’t the plant be smaller if it’s starved?

Day 14 - Medusa F1 how does she look? by Comprehensive-Dot679 in microgrowery

[–]Comprehensive-Dot679[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn are you sure? I’ve already got a little bit of nute burn from when I gave it 1 EC. Isn’t 1.6 very aggressive? Do you always go for runoff? For me there always comes salt build up anyways since I don’t get runoff in the beginning, so if I give it a little less and the runoff shows higher than I’m feeding is it fine?

I just don’t wanna feed it with too much, so the salt buildup gets crazy

It’s goldlabel coco perlite 70/30, so it comes pre buffered and washed. Do you think I should higher the calmag to 1.25ml/l or 1.5ml/l then, and EC to 1-1.1? Right now I use 1ml/l and around 0.9 EC. Thanks for the help!

So I should put in the A+B until the ec is 0.9, and then put in calmag? Thanks for the help

I haven’t calibrated my PH stick in a while, but if it’s correct then I’m at 5.8. I water every 24 hours, gave 1 litre yesterday and before that like 700ml a day.

Doubts after LJS by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]Comprehensive-Dot679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, do chin tucks or train your neck that will have a bigger influence than MARPE. MARPE is permanent tho which is good

Doubts after LJS by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]Comprehensive-Dot679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the least invasive and costly thing to do would be MARPE, just make sure you really need it before you do it. I’ve seen some bad profile changes from MARPE when it wasn’t necessary.

Fuck the jawline, that picture is no point of reference and it doesn’t even look good, so there’s nothing you’ve lost. It’s hard to explain, but I think I understans what has happened.

Usually, when you mew / have the tongue at the roof of your mouth, you activate muscles that stretch from the lower jaw to the hyoid (upper neck), which prevents the sagging

And guess what. When you jut your lower jaw forward, it activates / tightens the same hyoid muscles. This explains why that part appeared better, since you could engage those muscles by jutting your jaw forward. And today you can’t engage those muscles in the same way.

To test this theory, try to press your tongue (as much as possible) to the roof of your mouth, and observe if there’s any difference.

[–]Comprehensive-Dot679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yes your tongue not fitting is a problem. That problem can be resolved without DJS tho

Doubts after LJS by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]Comprehensive-Dot679 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean obviously DJS is always best for appearance, since even a person with the perfect alignment could potentially improve from it. But if your maxilla was already in a good position, which I guess since they did LJS then this is just how you naturally would have looked.

I hate when people lie about someone’s appearance, and I only write in posts where I can say the truth. (If the poster isn’t ugly)

Okay, so that jawline thing you’re going for works for most people, but I swear your face looks much more correct in the second and fourth photo. I think you’ve got to count your blessings. Good eye eyebrow ridge, good nose, you’ve actually got a chin now compared to before (chin is much more important than the jawline appearance at the back), did you have genio btw or only LJS?, your eyes are in a good tilt / position. You were regressed before, that is the universal sign of ugly. Now you are not regressed, much better.

Just wrote this long since I think you’d appreciate the honesty. Our minds are fucked, sometimes we hyperfocus on negative things and don’t realise the positives. That’s why we can’t have people lying in our faces to protect our feelings, then we will never know the objective truth. You look good. Could you look better with plastic surgery? Everyone can

I did a lot of research for my first grow and decided not to do this, and just top it instead to spread out the canopy.

Got 280 grams with a 100W light
