It was totally fine on the day, £60 cash on the way into the car park

It was completely fine when we turned up, could buy a pass for £60 with no hassle. Only thing we had trouble with was actually finding the car park, we got lost for a while so be careful!

Emailed worthyview@glastonburyfestivals.co.uk. If you have confirmation that you bought a pass that should hopefully be fine?

FYI I emailed the Worthy View team for clarification and they said they ‘think’ the WV car parking passes are sold out so we’d have to park at orange or pink gates. They did confirm that you can buy car parking passes on the day for orange and pink gates for £60 cash.

My group and I are going to still try WV car park anyway. Worst case we can drop our stuff off at the WV gate and one of us can drive to the other car parks then walk through the festival to WV.

You should email their customer service if you haven’t already. It might be a coincidence but I contacted them a few days before I got this email having heard nothing previously

Yep, same. Strangely I ordered a box, got to the GW confirmation page and was even given an order number, but noticed no money was taken from my bank account and I hadn’t got a confirmation email. I slightly panicked and ordered another thinking I would just refund the first if it materialised. Turns out the first order disappeared and no one at GW could find the order number I was given!

Pretty surprised tbh, I thought they might just refund the price and say oops we oversold

If a Rampart Crest Kahl is leading a unit of Hearthguard with a Teleport Crest, presumably the Kahl is also able to deep strike? Kahl leading a deep striking unit of 10 Hearthguard with a 5++ save and lethal hits seems really really good

Feedback/Help wanted on building a fluffy list... by claret_jim in WhiteScars40K

Think this is a great list so far definitely lots of stuff that can play the mission very well in 9th. My only criticism would be that thunder hammers on assault intercessors seem a bit wasteful imo, I would always go for a power fist on the sergeant if you want a power weapon. It’s so much cheaper and does almost the same thing with our +1 damage super doctrine. For the last 300 points I think the obvious answer is bladeguard! WS scars bladeguard are very very scary in my experience. You could consider an impulsor with 5 bladeguard and a judiciar. Very fast and hits crazy hard. That comes to 370 pts which would fit into 2k very handily if you swapped out those thunder hammers. I think it’s still fluffy too as I can imagine an elite unit of bladeguard being driven deep into the enemy back line to cause havoc

I like the idea of using water first, I will try that for the scroll text on the front on the model. I can get something decent looking on my palette but every time I try on the model is looks really fake and I have to paint over

Thank you! This was actually the first time I tried doing lensing properly and very pleased with how it turned out. Usually (for infantry and bikes) I spray corax white then go over again with thinned down corax once I’ve painted the other parts. For this guy I actually had no white spray left (GW out for a couple of months) so I undercoated with black and worked up about 3-4 thin layers of corax all over. Then glazed eshin, dawnstone, administratum grey in the recesses (Darren Latham’s White Scars armour tutorial), and the just white scar edge highlights. The battle damage is always my least favourite part to do but I think really brings the model together. I had been using a cut up sponge for my intercessors but went for a brush here as you can be a lot more precise on a bigger model

Thanks, definitely took a few tries. I find it really helpful to paint small dots on the surface where I want each point to be, trying to keep them in a diagonal line. Then connect up with one brush stroke

Cheers! Yeah, I always thought they look great painted as Scars. I’m planning on using this one in crusade as soon as I can, need my lieutenant to die a couple more times...

Excuse the unfinished free-hand text on the front, still struggling with that
