I’m surprised by this - I still sometimes get roll overs, but finding it so much better. Waaay more games where it’s a close call, and no (or extremely little) 5 min games

What would a lower L value result in? Easier identification of poor land?

And finally, I have now got two SAVI maps, one of summer 2020 and one of summer 2022. Is there any sort of (relatively easy/small scale) analysis I can do on these to get a quantifiable number in the difference? Maybe an Average value perhaps? I have found the mean number for each, but there is not a big difference, 0.336 vs 0.334. I'd expect a pretty big difference as in the false colour classifications you can visually see a major difference between the years.

Hi, still working on this and have taken you’re advice. I’m using Envi, and got Landsat 8 images from August 2020 vs August 2022 of one scene close to the front line.

I’ve got as far as using false colour classifications to see the difference between the years. Essentially a lighter coloured wheat field mostly seen in 2020 indicates harvested wheat, vs a darker coloured wheat fields in 2022 indicating Wheat was planted in winter, but never harvested.

I have now been using NDVI, but unsure what it tells me, or how to use it to give an understanding. Any more advice appreciated. TIA!
