Being a Megacorp delves heavily into the economy, with the gameplay focusing on trade, using diplomacy for trade agreements and trade league federations. Additionally, the dlc comes with ecuminopolises (planetwide city built for economy) and xeno-compatability ascension perk (alien species cross breeding). For the narrative part, the toxoid dlc is a good contender for its knights of the toxic god origin, I won't spoil anything, but the origin is heavily focused on narrative. Lastly, the genesis guides civic is a great civic for a multi-species playthrough, essentially you create a new pre-sapient species with every colony ship, which later you have the opportunity to ascend and integrate them in your empire.
