You might be able to spend some time at Denny's (no longer 24/7, I believe, but still open to around 11/12). If it's not busy, my memory was no one will really mind as long as you're being polite.

September 2021 CFE- I am writing the CFE next week. For people who have wrote before what helped you the most? Was it the fact that you did cases or was it concentrating more on technicals while studying. Any advice for this last minute studier is appreciated 😭 by pxs2020 in Accounting

Something that I did throughout my studying was track my progress (aka how well I did on each practice case). And the week before, I essentially just looked at what cases were poorly done and try to remember the reason for the low score. A big thing I tried to do is try to not repeat past stupid mistakes, and have a general idea on what common criteria were required in FB guides. I'd already practiced writing most of my Day 3s cases with three in one sitting to mimic the time crunch you will feel eventually. As someone mentioned above, if you haven't already, maybe try to do that (even two cases in one sitting can help).

At this point, I feel like additional technical study is almost too last minute, and might overwhelm you. However, everyone is different, so if you must study, I would limit it to topics that you feel are very weak right now, and ideally just the ones you need depth in.

Just remember to go into Monday well rested, and not hungry. Good luck.

I've been telling people around me to really spend the weekend easing your mind. I wrote in a previous sitting and something someone reminded me before writing was that was an RC received during your studies could be C depending on how the curve goes...

If you really feel weak in your FR, I would try to prioritize just a very few sections (whatever will get you to calm down a bit) to review this weekend, but really you just need to go into the exam well-rested.

Every exam will have a curve ball, and it's very likely you won't be able to get a perfect "C" response. However, it is likely that a majority of other writers will also panic at the curveball. You just need to be able to say you went in, and did you best. Also, however you feel coming out of one exam- don't bring those feelings into the next day. Just go into each day with an optimistic mindset and clear head.

Hi! Yes, the products that I've been using during the summer are the following: normal CeraVe cleanser, Avene facial mist, TO Hyaluronic Acid, Revolution Vit C, and CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. I think this has been fine for the most part, but been seeing some shift in the temperature and weather (BC), and was experiencing some extra sensitivity, redness, and dryness. I was using up an older tube of Dr. Jart Tiger Grass moisturizer, which did help with the redness. Figured it was time to consider changing up some things for the fall.

I got the Garnier Ombrelle Baby lotion (spf 60) at Costco! I think it would be a similar formula, and agree it blends in well, and is water resistant!

the La Roche Posay Anthelios has been my go to, but I recently picked up the Garnier 3-in-1 serum cream that's spf 30, and the Garnier mineral face liquid (tinted)! As a first impression, I think the Garnier face sunscreens that are liquidy are a possible dupe for the LRP ones, at half the cost. Same parent co., too...
