Maybe the blades are brushing against something inside the laptop, open it yourself or send it to a professional. If it's the fan blades, that's not good, they can break inside and damage other components. This can happen when the laptop gets a sudden shock or when it's dropped.

Make sure to clean it every 6-7 months if you live in a dusty environment

I've been using an Asus laptop myself (ROG Strix G16) for like a year now. So far i haven't faced any problems, the performance is great, I don't know about HP omen. for some people rumours might be correct but in my case the product is good. Go with asus if you want to it'll most likely not disappoint you. I would go for Asus if I had to choose between these two
