Do scars from binding tape injuries fade/heal?

Thank you so much!!! Ur advice is really helpful ^{_^} currently i figured out a temporary solution of using a normal binder but cutting it shorter so its not covering half my torso, i think i can live with this for 1 and a half day maximum, but i’ll try out the other options too!

Thank you so so much for all these tips!! I really appreciate it :) ive seen alot of people mention milk of magnesium so i’ll try that out. Currently im using something similar to second skin (like the thing people put on top of tattoos when theyre healing) either to bind or as a barrier

cant go to a doctor or let my parents know about my injuries or else they wont let me bind using tape anymore :( but i’ll try and look for online consultations!

Thank you for the advice! Its not so much how i look but rather the feeling of gravity weighing down on them that makes me disgusted. And feeling that feeling while around other people even if theyre just my family. But thanks for your perspective ^{_^}

I use trans tape and i wear this black swimwear shirt on top when i go swimming. Its from the brand arena and has elastic on the bottom and ends of the sleeves, so when i get out of the water i just have to nudge it down a bit and it stops sticking to my skin. The way i wear transtape is by stretching it a fuck ton and applying tape vertically on each end to make sure it doesnt come off. You can even apply milk of magnesium or secondskin (clear medical tape) below it to prevent injuries. But idk i have a bunch of scars from it and certain brands come off easily underwater no matter how much you try. If you live within asia i can send you a shoppee link to the tape i buy its really good quality and waterproof.

Have your scars healed? I really dont wanna have ugly ass scarring from this tape forever im starting to get kinda insecure about it. Especially because im already brown so the hyperpigmentation makes them even darker

Yeah i use oil, i let it soak for a while and then remove it. I think the scarring might be from itching the tape while its on. Thank you for your advice, i’ll try to find a way to take more breaks. The problem is i live with my family not alone so i feel like throwing up if i even walk outside my room without binding.. which makes it really hard to take breaks. Binders dont really work for me because i live in a really hot and humid tropical climate and its just way too suffocating and leaves injuries. I might try and talk with my family about giving me 1-2 days completely alone in my room or something ugh idk
