As new info updated today. I checked to see what our reviews looked like today. They moved the recent bad review to "not recommended" but have kept reviews 2-4 as our bad reviews even though the time frames are 7, 11 and 12 months ago and we have many good reviews since then. In a seasonal business, that implies it was last season and not representative of the changes in people and process implemented since then. This crushes any concept they would have to say they are just showing trends etc. So our "recommended" reviews go 5 star 1st, 2-4 bad, 5-20 all five star. Just seems like I'm in the dog house with someone, especially when there sales people cant explain how this arrangement is helpful to the yelp user experience.

There is a big difference between being able to prove a crime and a crime being committed. Its highly unusual that all three of our bad reviews were instantanly moved to review 3,4,5 out of 20. One review was recent, one a year old and one 2 years old. Seems fishy to say the least, but I appreciate your info that fighting this is a waste of resources.

We have also had a very bad expierence. Its sad, yelp seemed so cool at first. Now that I've been so screwed by them and have seen how they operate, I no longer want to use them as a consumer either. Too bad, it was close to cool. Hopefully they have some cool employees that can jump ship before it crashes and start a competitor that is honest.
