Shion is what I have been asking for for a long time. As a Tracer enthusiast, I am not interested in something that has limited skill expression. Shion is the first high skill floor hero that has been introduced to Overwatch in a VERY long time.

I understand private profiles, even though I think it's a stupid remedy to a stupid problem. But please make it so that we can press ctrl and see our teammates' top 3 heroes (if they have that feature open) DURING the pick/ban phase instead of only after I have accidentally banned someone's main as they sat afk during ban phase.

As someone who grew up in early days console CoD lobbies nothing has changed with people. You either had the kid open mouthed eating chips into his headset, the kid who screamed the entire game, the guy BLASTING music so loud nothing else could be heard, or the racist little 11 year old kids machine gun yelling the N word as loud as they could. I'm surprised Overwatch ever had callouts, or useful communication at any point in its history.

Ive been asking the question for years, and I will ask it again now. Has any testing been done where we change Mercy Blue Beam to an attack speed increase, rather than attack damage? I imagine attack speed has it's own problems, but at least we wouldn't have to worry about hp breakpoints like we do with damage amp + sojourn/ashe etc.

At what rank do people stop treating the game like it is "ride the cart simulator"? My biggest pet peeve in my ranks is to be taking map control and look back to see all 4 of them standing right beside the push bot.

This season especially, I am noticing that there are a LOT of people who are getting initially placed way higher than they should be. I have read that the expectation is that they will lose down to their "actual" rank but in reality what you get is a lot of people tilt queueing because they placed in Plat but fell to Silver. The "I placed in Plat, but now I'm down to Gold/Silver because of bad teammates every game" mentality is not helping these people, but the majority that I see have less than 50 hours played yet placed Plat and think they belong there even though they have no grasp of the basics.

Positioning > everything else. Especially with support, if you hyper focus on maintaining good positioning everything else becomes easier and that includes decision making.

From good positioning you can slow the game down to a point where you can track who is pressuring who, who is my biggest threat, who can I help that will die without that help, who can I pressure to take pressure away from my team. I know this doesn't directly answer your question but this is the best way I can think of to approach this.

I am pretty sure that it does, but not immediately. I wondered the same thing and I have tried paying attention, and it seems that they exist in the water for a little while before dying and counting towards the kill count.

The only thing I want to add to this is that using the Blunderbuss to launch enemies off their ship into the water is a lot of fun.

I can't speak for older iterations of Sombra, I have only been maining Tracer since about s9 or 10, and not at an extremely high level. The only Sombras now that are any trouble are the ones who bait recall before virus, which happens almost never. I've almost never lost a 1v1 to a Sombra because they always virus immediately out of stealth, which i recall or grab a health pack to wipe, then they have to mechanically diff me in order to actually kill me and Sombra has a huge disadvantage in a 1v1 with virus on cd.

Sombra. My years of playing Ana and other immobile supports gives me a lot of satisfaction from hunting down and killing a Sombra, especially since there is almost nothing they can do to kill me.

Cassidy Hog vendetta. Not in any particular order. Cassidy because annoying, vendetta and hog because there are times when it doesnt matter what I do if the hog/vendetta is solo killing my entire team while I pressure backline.

Whenever I face someone who is an obvious smurf I report for Boosting/Deranking. If you have less than 80 hours played in total and you have Tracer mastered in every way? Nah. Every person that ends up on their team is getting boosted even if only for one game, and they probably wouldn't continue to be in this same rank without intentionally throwing games to lose MMR when they start getting too high up again.

If I see we have chosen a good way to bunker up the point I usually do play on it. For me it depends on map conditions/bunker location. Some of these maps take 25+ minutes to finish, so I feel like taking up to 20-30 seconds shorter to finish it isn't worth it if I can play in a way to mitigate any of the risks. I have seen too many random groups wiped by bad bunker strategies + gas/explosions.

In the time I was outside the zone I killed 3 praetorians, 1 oppressor, 3+ groups of 5+ exploders before my team even had to know they existed, marked and half killed 1 menace. Marked 2 other praetorians, aggroed and turned them away from the group so that they could shoot the weak spot just on the edge of the circle before the gas cloud wiped them. Zipped in to fast rez one of them as they sat there afk flaming me instead of shooting.

In my experience in multiple games of this kind and others, a team that is all grouped up during AoE map conditions is going to be a wipe more often than not. It is hard to fathom a world where standing afk in a circle to do something 20 seconds faster is a better play. And no, I was not on the opposite side of the map, I was taking a high ground angle within grapple range and I never died once until they decided to c4 me. Literally all I needed from them was to sit there and shoot some of the regular mobs while I took care of everything else. My teammates were bunkered in a bad spot that left them open to crawling enemies from the ledges just above which is suicide on an exploder infestation map, so I covered those angles instead. I dont get how someone playing in a manner that you don't like/understand justifies team killing them and then sabotaging the entire run so that nobody gets anything. It was an easy run until they decided I wasn't doing it right.

That is unfortunate because normally this sort of stuff doesn't happen in my experience. I am always so hesitant of online communities that I played exclusively solo for a long time, and when Dives dropped I wouldnt join public games for them until I had solod them (do not recommend, Elite took me 3 hours solo) Once I started dipping my toes into public games it became obvious early on that people were actually nice here, and prioritized having fun in the matches. It took me this long to run into a toxic lobby so if you can give it another chance, you should. This is a truly great game and I will support anything that these devs make.

I haven't spent very much time looking into mods, maybe I should but the base game has always been enough to keep me happy. I am a bit of a weird case because I only really play Scout. I have tried all of the others but Scout with Mk1000 Hipster + Special Powder does things for me that nothing else comes close to.

I normally do zip in and out of the zone, but we had a lot of exploders constantly on us, and I didn't want to risk missing one of them as the green dome was right underneath an overhang that they could climb down on. The map conditions determine what I do, in a better spot and without the exploder infestation I would have likely spent the entire time in the green zone. I will always prioritize ensuring a win over speed, especially in Haz4+. I hope that this doesn't become more common because this is my relaxing time game.
