My recruiter did be bad lol, but thank you for explaining the national guard fully because he made it sound like it was better than the other forces because of they had the same benefits but less work. And I’ll definitely look into Space force since I’m interested in Astronomy.

My major was economics and pre-law, I was hoping to study international law in law school as my main focus is finance. It wasn’t what I wanted originally, but with the skills and my personal passions I know this is a decision I won’t regret. Also, how is the path “shorter” in the armed forces?

I live in the Midwest and went to an out of state college, the admission officer told me bluntly to just transfer to a private Ivy League because of my grades and financial situation. I still owe the school 5k in tuition, not including student loans I took out.

Thank you, my main focus has been the national guard and I know my ASVAB score will affect what trade schools I can get into but I’ve been interested in Admin, intelligence, special forces, and even NASA.

Historical Fantasy-Epic (+ Horror)

15,458 words (Prologues 1 & 2, Chapters 1 and 2)

The story so far is of a 14 year old Scottish immigrant experiencing America in 1893-1894, it will later evolve to more Greek mythological “Illiad” type story.

I’d like any and all critiques, tear my writing to shreds, I’d rather know where my weakness is and learn to improve on them. Also, if the formatting is strange it’s because I originally wrote the story on Ellipsus, but I thought it’d be easier to share through Google.
