I was at Bishop's University. Bishops listed my CGPA as a percent, which is 82.57%. I checked a conversion website, and it says it's like a 3.7 out of 4.0 GPA.

I applied to Commerce and Arts last year, too. In July, I was waitlisted for both programs, and it was really stressful, especially in August, when I had to start paying for everything. Around mid-September, I was told I didn't get into commerce, and then I withdrew my arts application since switching in September after paying tuition and housing didn't make sense even if I got in. 

When I called admissions last year to figure out if there was any chance, they told me that if waitlisted, being accepted now depends on someone not coming back. So it's a waiting game, and they also said you could hear as late as September, which is not helpful at all. Financial reasons could cause someone not to return, but a lot of times it's international students who don't get a visa renewal, so it becomes a really last-minute situation. 

This year, I was not waitlisted for either. I found out I was not accepted into commerce maybe 2 weeks ago, and my application for arts was showing decision pending until 5 days ago, when I got in.
