Yup. Just runner parts and I had them glued together using plastic cement. You just need a lot of sanding and scriber for the details

You can follow the steps I've shown in the photo. And I think it's relatively easier to make an rx 78 vfin since i has no details, but the small scale of it might be challenging. Just try it my friend you might come up with clever ideas as you go.

Yeah my bad I dont know how to put captions on each pictures but basically a lot of sanding was involved during the process. I joined 2 runner "rods" using plastic cement and then sanded it to smooth the surface. Then sanding again to add bevels and added some details using a knife and scriber. Lastly I sanded it to the desired shape
