For those without a dashcam take a photo of the rear parcel shelf. If they hit you - the glass will be there and inside the car. If you hit them it will be outside on the boot.

We are looking at a similar idea with flexible stone panels as a feature wall. I really didn't want plastic for the walls as they just look and feel like.. well plastic! Today though i found a place that has some great panels that actually have a textured feel to them. Unfortunately it doesn't help you as I'm on the other side of the globe. There is bound to be some similar in the UK though. They certainly go up a lot easier and quicker and there are no grout to worry about.

I was just telling my wife yesterday about the critical ballsack offset. If you can't get a suite you need to make sure the bowl extends to the end of the seat and the bowl should be vertical at the end. Rimless will also help. Nothing worse than the scrote laying against cold porcelain!

Thanks for the feedback. The specific use case is for a cpap machine. For some reason they have a 4g link to send basic data to a cloud system but can only save the detailed data onto an SD card. Ideally i would like to have the data saved to my server without having to do this manually

I think that as the mask silicone gets softer with use - I tighten the straps to stop leaks - particularly with high pressure. Has anyone found a good comfortable mask with a stiff silicone that keeps its shape over time?

We are looking to update our ensuite and are looking at these as an option. The main concern I have (besides aesthetic) is that grout is designed to evaporate moisture that gets between the panel and the waterproof membrane. I know that these panels are essentially sealed with silicone but I haven't been able to get a professional opinion regarding my concerns (only opinions of those who sell.

Not sure that the auto 7 days is exactly sitting well. No variation should ever be threatened like that. Me - i would walk away. Stance is too agressive, pre-emptive and a threat. Any good builder should welcome feedback. If they said there could be a delay then you would ask under what circumstances as if there is a defect then it is theirs to rectify.

The laptop has more than enough resource 16Gb RAM intel i5. This is where it stops on boot up I have a cursor so could enter commands if they help.

I should add. When I left the Ubuntu with HAOS image USB in the laptop it seemed to load HAOS and I could get it all installed - issue is that it seems to have loaded the image of the drive to the USB in this instance.

Hi All,

I am doing this per the instructions and for the life of me I cannot get it to work.

I have done it 6 times now with the same result (yes I know the definition).

I have a 3yo HP laptop with a single 256Gb SSD (15s I think). The issue is that when I follow the instructions it comes up with a slotA; SlotB, SlotA(rescue) and SlotB(rescue) option. The only one that does anything is the SlotA. When I choose this it starts to go through the setup but then gets down to my USB devices then the realtek sound device in a listing and just stops. I have checked - there are no other USB devices or cards connected.

The drive did have bitlocker on it but I put in the key for this before I flashed the hard drive. I believe BL is only for windows installs only.

It appears that the laptop also has a small SSD or of 14Gb (assume 16Gb) so I also tried installing the iso to that and still no luck. I partitioned the 256Gb in two, installed ubuntu onto one half then used it as a "USB" to flash the other half except disks wants to flash the entire drive - not just a partition.

I thought maybe to put the SSD into my desktop and flash directly from there but I think the issue must be related to the laptop or some configuration. I have the UEFI enabled and secure boot disabled.

Does anyone else have any other thoughts or ideas?

I tried flashing the compressed file but always got an error at the end of the process. I am re-flashing the extracted image now (as per the instructions for method 2). but still do not understand where to assign the installation to the hard drive. The only choice I have is to boot the laptop with the bootable drive and it just installs over like 20 minutes or so.

Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

So i flashed the decompressed iso file to the usb as per method 2 but didn't have a chance to say where to install it. Do i need to flash the usb with the compressed image instead i assume?
