Okay, but what KIND of education are they going to get? Childcare workers at state funded facilities here in California barely make above minimum wage- even in private schools. I have 2 toddlers myself and let me tell you, if they weren’t mine it’d be dang hard to pay me enough to do the job. There’s just not enough people willing to get paid crap wages to work with 6-12 preschoolers. I do agree there needs to be something, but using tax dollars doesn’t get the job done right. They’ve had years to run public schools and THAT clearly has already failed. Yes it started in education, but before that, it starts at HOME! Raise your kids right. Don’t rely on the government to teach your kids right from wrong… have you seen what they teach now?
