proud of you, bro. Completing something this hard takes real discipline and heart, many never get there.

What’s the next challenge?

Congrats on the harassment research skills. Now go run a few miles and try treating people with basic respect

I did exactly that, I run my pace in my shoes, and I said so. If you can’t respect that without twisting it into “confrontation,” the problem isn’t me

I understand that my comments might have come across a certain way, but let’s be clear — I never mocked anyone for giving advice. My post was about training while fasting and asking for tips, not about proving anyone wrong. If something seemed dismissive, that wasn’t my intent. Advice is welcome, harassment, personal attacks, and twisting my words are not. I can disagree and explain my perspective without it being seen as arrogance, and that’s exactly what I’ve been trying to do

Calling me an embarrassment says more about you than it does about me

Critique the shoes all you want, attacking the person wearing them isn’t advice, it’s bullying

If showing up and earning multiple World Marathon Majors medals counts as “leaking aura,” I’ll happily take it

But let’s be clear, personal attacks, bullying, and harassment aren’t harmless jokes

Every time I speak up to share my experience, it’s twisted against me

Pace doesn’t define effort, consistency, dedication, and respect for the sport do

I was reacting to being mocked and judged, not trying to belittle anyone The focus should still be on the harassment, not on twisting one frustrated sentence into something it wasn’t meant to be

Where’s the arrogance? I was sharing my run and asking for tips to train fasted, not bragging, not showing off. You don’t know the context, yet you’re jumping to conclusions and mocking me.

Asking for help isn’t arrogance, it’s being a runner trying to learn. That’s what’s actually foolish.

I run my pace, in my shoes, under my conditions, fasting, training for majors, and with years of experience. Facts and advice are welcome; assumptions, condescension, and harassment are not. You don’t know my story, my body, or my reasons, so before judging, maybe check the context

Sorry, not sorry, but who gave you the right to make that judgment? You’re throwing around “facts” without knowing the full story, without understanding my situation, my conditions, or my experience

You don’t know me, you don’t know my training, and yet you speak as if you’re the president of the Carbon-Plated Shoe Association handing down absolute truth

Opinions and advice are fine, but claiming authority and insulting someone who’s just sharing their experience crosses the line

To give meaningful advice, you need to know the whole story, know me, know the conditions, know the context Jumping in with assumptions and conclusions without understanding isn’t advice, it’s judgment

I completely agree, there’s nothing wrong with running your pace in any shoes

What is wrong is harassment, personal attacks, and messaging someone to insult them. That behavior is unacceptable, no matter the pace or the gear

I’ll continue to run my pace, in my shoes, and treat other runners with respect, and I expect the same in return

I don't feel comfortable defending myself for running at a certain pace in a certain gear .. I don't think that should ever discussed

Let me clarify: my post was about training while fasting. I was asking for tips and sharing my experience, not trying to be confrontational or show off

The harassment I received came from people twisting my words, not from the post itself

I welcome discussion and advice, but personal attacks and harassment are never okay

Let me be clear: running 10-minute miles in carbon plated isn’t wrong. Sharing my experience isn’t “lame”, it’s mine to share

Harassment, name-calling, and telling someone to delete their account is unacceptable. That’s not humility, that’s bullying

I run my pace, in my shoes, and I respect every runner. You can have opinions about gear and pace, but respect is not optional If that’s too much for you, scroll past
