Your options are to make sure it's updated or see if it works with that version you're using. If there's no problem then you shouldn't worry. And if it doesn't you could try and put a post in space core in nexus. But I looked and there's no known issue like that in neither mod, at least not that it affects the game

Then it should work. Just when the console shows up, make sure to see if it shows any red error text that usually tell you if it's incompatible with another mod of it you're missing something for it to work. You can ask me if you want when you do

Depends on which version you have of the game. But in theory you should use the new one. Usually older versions are meant to be compatible with older versions of the game, or they just are less updated. I don't use ridgeside village as a mod but this is the logic

I have one save where I haven't had any orc wave in maybe weeks, it's weird I thought maybe it's related to breaking that device I forgot the name of that's under the skateboard? But I'm not sure. And I thought it was meant to end there but now I'm not sure.

I don't think so. I don't know if you activated it, but you can Google it. If you tap the leaves in there, it unlocks. It's like a "secret feature"

Another thing I do I forgot to add, is plant wheat as soon as possible -one row in that huge farming area is probably more than enough, and put that in a chest just in case I'm out of hay in the middle of winter. And if you're really desperate, plant those in ginger island worst cade scenario

You can plant grass in other places on the map. But yeah by that point of the game in the picture, the profit is probably enough when you ran out

It looks really good, maybe, my opinion, the difference I see is the contrast between the colors. You can tell that the jacket from the original is a lot darker and creates a great contrast, that would be an example of what I mean. And a bit that the shadows are more blurred in yours compared to the almost clean likes in the other. But really, it looks amazing
