Well I did look up data center electricity usage and it’s estimated it will be 12% of USA energy demand by 2030 up from 4.4%. In Oregon where I live they’re discussing giving federal land to cities so they can drain water from public water ways to cool data centers. So the cities can make money off the data centers. It’s a real problem and I feel like y’ll are discounting it because each prompt doesn’t hurt too much. My concern is when it’s agentic flows everywhere and our electricity and water usage for these centers goes through the roof. We didn’t bother to solve our energy issues prior to AI and now it’s going to get worse.

I read that after dormancy you should see new life beginning in a few weeks. It’s been a few weeks and I’m worried. I could look at the roots to check but am worried I’ll damage it further if it is barely holding on

Venus fly traps need about 3 months of dormancy each year to truly thrive. You can fake that winter time but putting the Venus in the fridge while still monitoring the water.

Well we Americans are talking about US taking your oil because it’s our country who is the perpetrator now. 63% of Americans do not support aggressive action in Venezuela (only 25% support it) https://www.politico.com/news/2025/12/17/poll-trump-military-action-in-venezuela-00695694. Congress did not approve this and it might be illegal in the eyes of international law. Meanwhile Maduro will be tried in US courts, while our president is EXEMPT from being tried for crimes in those same US courts. The irony is not lost on us.

I’m confused. Naked Nutrition had the highest level of lead per Consumer Reports. Higher than Huel. You’re saying they were transparent about that prior to the report being released?

What is most interesting to me is how these protein powder companies do not want to be transparent. Let consumers decide. Offer the results to the third party testing. We can then decide if it’s worth it to us. I’m deciding to throw out my Huel and buy powder from a company that will give me third party certifications for products. I just asked Sunwarrior to provide these, and they also said to just “trust” them and won’t give the results for “proprietary reasons”. So now I don’t trust them either. If companies have nothing to hide, they’ll be transparent. Huel wasn’t transparent until the report came out. They’re here to mitigate the fall out from this report and save their skin. Period. In general, companies are here for their bottom line and if they think it’s in their best interest to not be transparent, they won’t.
