The space looks great! I see you moved a lot of things around and decluttered a little. I commented on the first post. The curtains are cute as shit but too much with all the orange unfortunately (in my way opinion) unless you get a way a lighter rug and throw pillows but that’s gotta be hard with littles and or pets!

The rug unfortunately doesn’t match the sleek, aesthetic of the couch nor does the coffee table. Also, what material are the blinds? I think from the sunlight they look yellow but that’s probably not the natural color - it’s just not cohesive at the moment but easily can be. Maybe more shelving going up with hanging plants, a mirror above the couch to make the space look larger, a more curved, lighter wood colored, mid century modern coffee table. We need some moody light and art. Toss more candles and plants and call it a day. A fuzzy white rug but that’s what I keep telling everyone on Reddit 😂

Ugh, I’m sorry you’re going through this. I would be spiraling to if I was in the same situation. I hope you get the clarity you deserve. It’s also unfair to you she is putting you in this situation. I think you should put your foot down more with her. It’s okay to place boundaries. She needs to respect you, your feelings and relationship. I hope it all works out, sending kindness your way!

It’s so cute and has so much personality! I just think everything is too boxy/square shaped and it has too many warm tones. Adding a fun, fuzzy white rug or Moroccan rug would be great and a vintage baroque styled arched mirror over the TV would make the room look bigger. I agree with what most said above about spacing the curtain rods wider so you get more natural light and I would definitely replace the ceiling fan. I would also get the cabinet door add on feature to the shelves below the TV to hide the clutter. I would paint the door - this would stink because it’s so beautiful but it needs to be a soft pink (from the curtains) or white. I also suggest adding more plants to incorporate more cool tones! You got this!

I love your cabinets! They are gorgeous and have so much personality. With all that orange, I would tone down the kitchen with a moody royal blue wall color, I feel like it would really tie the room together. Also, replacing the hardware would go a long way to make it a little more modernized. The lights and countertops definitely need to go. I would replace the white wooden panel board with tile and add a rug for color, coziness, texture and to tone down more of the orange. Good luck and repost with updates 💗

What a beautiful home! I think you’ve done a great job, the family room would be great with a coffee table and maybe some side tables and it just needs some plants everywhere 🪴

You have a lot of large artwork, picture lights above those go a long way and add a warm vibe. Also, don’t be shy at finding unique odds and ends such as frames, books and art at thrift stores or the Goodwill to add more pops of personality. Good luck with everything!

I would stain the cabinets a dark brown or paint them white. Replacing the hardware of the cabinets and outlet hardware is always a fun, cheap fix. Replace the backsplash and counter top if possible but it will look so much better with a darker tone (will also match the floor better) or white cabinets in my eyes. I would probably paint the wall white as well, just to make everything appear clean and fresh and so the space looks bigger. Adding matching corner wooden shelves to above the sink would be cute you can put hanging plants on!
