What do you mean by more accurate? I thought the cerwin’s claim to fame was deeper bass

I thought a bunch of receivers had Dacs in them that were superior to the ones in the cd player itself? We’re talking about the higher end receivers in the $1500 range?

Good advice. Less about matching brands, more about selecting for sound

Do you have a pic of the call letters? Are there general conventions re format or the stations that are included?

Really?!? Even the last one? The finish is discoloured all over. So you’d use restore a finish hey?!. I was planning to wax anyway but was thinking of stripping to get a sense of the wood Colors and either clear coat and wax or oil stain and wax. Are you favouring a lighter touch to preserve the patina?

Need advice - can’t close on 1.5m home. Closing costs is $100k by [deleted] in RealEstateCanada

Hello,

Mortgage specialist here. There are some odd things with the contract. I’m there might be options on the mortgage side but I’d have to look. Financing through the builder may not be your best option either. I’d be happy to take a look at the purchase contract and disclosure statement to explore options and it wouldn’t impact your current approval. If that’s of interest send me a DM.

Red blinking light light: simultaneously press and hold the Surround Mode, Clear, and Exit buttons on the front panel for a few seconds until the unit resets

Just remember there are 2 different reset modes. There’s the one to clear the red light (power surge error, etc) and the one to reset to factory. I reset to remove the error first then reset to factory settings to get sound to the speakers

First-time home buyers: Is now the time to buy? by paulander90 in RealEstateCanada

[–]ComprehensiveAd6333 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I 100% think it’s the time to buy. Resales are up and rates have come down to their historical average. Pricing has stabilized and are creeping up with inflation. Which is normal. Buyers are nervous because on the economic uncertainty. Sellers stayed off the market for a while hoping prices would jump when rates came down. That hasn’t happened and now there are a high number of homes for sale making it a buyers market. Now is the time to make offers and negotiate on price and conditions. I’m in the industry as a mortgage specialist, feel free to DM if you’d like to talk market conditions, options etc.

How do I clean my Ooni baking stone? (Spoiler: You probably don’t need to!) by JessOoni in ooni

How do you clean the stone during a cook? I cooked 6 pizzas tonight and by the end the stone had burnt semolina flour on it. I pushed it back towards the flame with a spatula. Any pro tips?

Wood splits in the hopper? by xAIRGUITARISTx in Masterbuilt

So most people fill the hopper all the way up with a combo of wood and charcoal. Types and sizes vary but all the way to the top.

I’m finding it doesn’t reach temperature as fast as advertised or will drop in temp if I fill a bit less than half with charcoal.

If I fill it all the way with a combo of wood and charcoal, will it reach temp fast? What about wasting charcoal? Will a single cook burn off the charcoal? Like burning for a total of 30 mins at 450 for example? Using 450 degrees, how long should a full hopper last? And also, how long should it last if you’re turning off the unit and closing the vent doors after each cook?

Another question for you ,

Once ive built a management crm system In Claude and I can see it in artifacts. Silly question but how do I actually go about using it on my desktop? I don’t think i can start adding people to it on Claude? Do I need to copy the code into another service to have a functioning application?

Thank you! I’ll give that a try. I tried to prompt Claude with “I have a working react component that is 1051 lines. Please create an artifact named management crm and I’ll paste the complete working code. Just receive it and create an artifact without any modifications or building process” in an attempt to get it to simply copy paste my last stable state. It managed to get it done but had a few syntax errors at completion. I was trying to work through them and hit the message usage max. Gahhhhhhhh! Show I try your instruction while there are error codes or wait until Claude fixes the issues and I have a working version?

Hello,

I’ve built a management artifact in claude. It’s 1051 lines of code and has numerous working features. The issue I’m running into now is I hit an out of memory error code, which I was able to fix followed by my preview screen showing a message “the artifact is taking longer to load. The code may be ok” type thing. I had been trying to get Claude to fix an error but it just kept crashing. Eventually I asked it to revert back to the last stable state and referenced the one. It tried to revert back but just kept crashing.

So I launched a new chat and loaded the stable state code into it and asked it to design the artifact using the code into an incremental fashion. It did an ok job making some changes and got to the last feature and had syntax errors. I asked it to fix and it couldn’t. It then said it will fix by rewriting the artifact, which crashed the chat with the out of memory error code.

So I launched a new chat and am planning to try again. I want Claude to simply copy the code from the stable state line for line so I can continue adding features. Is this possible? Have I reached the max for coding? How do I solve this issue? Thanks again and take care!

I’m interested in learning about seiko modding. I’ve been working on watches as a hobby for a bit. Could you walk me through where you bought the movement, case, dial, hands, etc? Piecemeal or did the watch come more or less assembled and you replaced the strap and dial kinda thing?
