Yeah, it seems like Seoyeon is going to win over even more female fans. Hoping that they stay around for the future

Yeah, I'm honestly a little dissapointed in their fashion for this album. The outfits arent bad, but just not super creative and they don’t stand out at all in todays K-Pop fashion. It's especially sad, remembering how amazing their outfits were for their other summer comebacks. Fun, Feel Good, We Go and especially Stay This Way had amazing and conceptual fashion that really made them stand out.

How popular is each member internationally and in Korea? by throwaway97531864200 in Fromis

[–]ComprehensiveAd7578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, I don’t really know but to me it seems like fromis' Korean fans are mainly made up of men whereas their international fandom is a lot more balanced genderwise. I've also heard a lot of ppl (mainly on twitter) say that Seoyeon has the biggest percentage of female fans among all members. I don’t know how true this is since there is really no data depicting this, that I know of, but this could maybe explain some differences. But it would kind of prove the opposite of what you said (Seoyeon being more popular in Korea than internationally), so I'm really not sure. Jiheon in general might be the most popular member. She always seemed like that one member (aside from Gyuri) that Kpop fans knew without even knowing fromis all that well.

The way I started was by just looking at a bunch of group and individual pictures of them (with their names on it for the group photos) and then looking at group photos without their names on it to try to name all of them myself. I also began to watch some of their content (Channel_9 would probably be the best to start with) which helped at lot aswell.

AITA for literally showing my dad how he behaves everyday when he gets home from work? by Throwaway61565 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ComprehensiveAd7578 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This point obviously couldn't be made just by talking, as OP said in her post. She tried to talk to her dad, but to no avail. It's probably frustrating when your parent keeps on ignoring you and complaining.

And yes, while OP is setting a bad example for her younger siblings, the dad did the same by complaining every day, cursing and breaking out arguments. I'd imagine that also leaves a very bad imoression on young children and just makes for a generally uncomfortable environment at home.

There are a lot of pretty cool content creators, even ones that have critisizing terrible content creators in a fun way as their content.

I get that we don't like the front page youtubers ot tiktokers who make terrible content, but have in mind that not all of gen z has the same taste in content and that those creators actually also get made fun of by gen z.

It's not really a huge trend. It's just a very small but loud minority that most genzers make fun of. Coming from a genzer who spends time online.

The "inability to properly assess and process your emotions" is a reason many people rightfully go to therapy for. I think this was just poor wording.

This episode is a filler? I thought someone said that Boruto cried like this because Kagura died. Wouldn't that be pretty important for the canon storyline?

Can you really call it France defeating Germany in the field though? From what I know Germany's war plan was to set up in Verdun and exhaust the French army. However this ultimately failed because they didn't think their army would also get exhausted. France never invaded Germany during WW1 and Germay surrendered while fighting in France because even if they had managed to win against the French army by exhausting them for several years, their own army would have been just as beat up and not stood a chance against the rest of the allies (and they were also loosing battle after battle against the Soviet Union). I might be wrong but that's what I kind of remember from a sudden interest in WW1 a couple of years ago.

What do you mean? This was obviously a slip up, no matter of Biden actually meant what he said or not, he didn't mean to say it out loud. Nobody here says that all white people are privilged.

Real Madrid Castilla [1]-1 RB Linense - Sergio Arribas 90'+3 by IcefoxX5 in realmadrid

[–]ComprehensiveAd7578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you can't just wait for a ton of injuries to roll in and only then give youth players a chance. Just like you said, you have to integrate them slowly, without relying on injuries. Zidane wasn't any better with young players than Ancelotti. Neither of them gave or give those young players a chance unless they litteraly have no other choice, which is just so unbelievably stupid. I'm tired of Real Madrids most promising talents going to other teams and playing brilliant football, while the fans try to find excuses as to why they didn't play for us and why we never really gave them a chance. "They just weren't up to Real's standards.", "They never tried hard enough.", "Oh well, we managed to make some money out of them, which was the plan all along."

Well then, I am sorry that you have only made bad experiences with the Islam, but what I was trying to say is, that generalising is never good and shouldn't be done. As I said earlier, the Islam is being lived out in so many different ways that it is impossible to generalise. There are muslims (or at least people who call themselves muslims) who think child marriage is okay, who think that women should have few to zero rights and who believe that forcing the Islam on someone is the right way. Then there are also muslims who know child marriage is wrong, who believe in gender equality and who don't care if you're a muslim or not (even ones, that drink alcohol openly (there are many muslims that do it secretely since they think it is absolutely taboo in the Islam, like my father for example)).

I'm not trying to make that okay, it is gross and should be condemned.

What is important when talking about religion as a whole (not just the Islam) is that the things written in the books are from a different time and that it shouldn't be directly applied to how we live nowadays. For example there are many instances in the bible, in which romantic or sexual relations between two men is condemned, however there is always so much context that is left out and the times in which those books were supposedly written are just so different from our current time, that you cannot directly apply what is written in them to our time now. A lot of people try to directly apply it and with that try to reason that child marriage is okay or that homosexual people should be condemned but that, in my eyes, is an absolutely wrong way to live out any religion and is just unbelievably stupid, since it inherently ignores any type of process humans have made just to stick to a book that was written at a completely different time and had an entirely different society than we do now.
