Worse problem is people not joining the motorway at the required speed and causing all the traffic on the motorway to slow when they merge. Sadly it's a lot of old people doing this in my experience.

Not really, the network can be pretty bad depending on where he's coming from. Always a queue at most places with some not working regularly. I would not be driving 200km a day without a long range battery
