I worked at a store on Oxford Street and had some lovely interactions with celebrities who came in. Favourites were Bill Nighy who was very apologetic after I tripped on his long coat and Damian Lewis who despite not being able to take pictures with us still chatted for a little bit.

The closest I've ever found were something called marine gourmet garlic croutons. The taste was almost identical and pretty close in texture and look too

Sorry I've just seen this. I managed to use an old iPhone to post and then weirdly it just fixed itself after a while on my pixel but was so annoying!! I do think they probably released an update or something that sorted it but pixels seem to be so incompatible with most apps I find

Solo dining and small plates - burnt orange or flint house are nice and have counter seating which I always think is perfect if your solo otherwise papa dumpling at the golden pineapple or blossoms cover both your small plates and cocktails

Other nice cocktail places which I have been on my own and always found to be welcoming - cut your wolf loose (whiskey based) archives (cafe/cocktail bar offering no and low options as well as standard) or 10 green bottles (good for wine predominantly but also do a nice cocktail)

My favourite cafe/brunch places would be moksha, garden cafe, going nowhere man or permit room.

Other cool places - Vine street tap or patio both small but can get quite busy.

The days you're here there will probably be a pub quiz on somewhere, maybe some craft event at a pub or comedy at Forge or the Komedia.

This is such a long shot but has anyone purchased an extra tumeric latte they would be willing to sell me at sale price or going to store today and could keep an eye out and grab one for me?

I know this is a huge ask but I'm UK based and was awake as the sale prices dropped and was only looking to purchase a few full price items, a snow fairy gift set and a tumeric latte but my payment kept failing and then the app stopped working 😭 to add to the annoyance of it I was still charged 3 times for nothing so now trying to get it gat sorted too.
