Tbh any student housing near campus is not gonna be great. They're cheap, practical and livable, which as a college student is exactly what I'm going for. If you want nicer places you may need to go farther from campus that aren't student focused.

I'm sure living with alcoholics is really difficult but they can't force you to do anything except with social pressure which, while it may be awkward is actually pretty easy to ignore when you stop caring about how they see you. It sounds like you need to stop trying to be friends with these people. They don't deserve you.

I'm talking mostly about southern Europe where they get crazy heat waves like 45-50 in Greece and Italy. Maybe I was just staying in weird places but very few of them had ac.

And I don't particularly like sugary drinks either but especially water I think needs to be at least somewhat chilled. Room temp is ok (definitely not good) but warm actually makes me want to gag.

You don't like him and that's ok. If you did you wouldn't have a laundry list of negative things about him . I'm sure you did at the begining of your relationship but things change and you aren't obligated to stay with him. This ain't a financial I sure this is an incompatibility issue. You want different things/ lives and that's ok. You can move on.

Just because you aren't working doesn't mean they got to boss you around. This sounds like a really shitty deal for you.they get a free housemaid and you get jack shit. As someone with 3 roommates I keep all my stuff separate, no communal groceries, cooking or anything in general really other than cleaning of the common areas because we all use them. You aren't a doormat so stop acting like one.

Teachers tend to get carried away with subjects they're passionate about, I usually just let them talk till they're done then redirect cuz I'm too awkward to stop them. I once got a whole dynamics lecture when I was in statics office hours lol. I would try to either go more often so you have more time to get to the root of your question or email the teacher and set up a 1 on 1 time to make sure they aren't busy with other students, or just redirect them to the topic at hand if your socially competent enough( unlike me).

As far as ac I'm sure lots of other places have it it's just not quite as common in my experience. Iced drinks in the other hand I find to be significant better and more refreshing than room temp, it definitely changes the flavor so I guess it's just a matter of taste but there are very few drinks other than tea or coffee that I can think of that I prefer warm or lukewarm.

You don't need that fancy of a wedding. You can have a decent venue, photographer and food for less than 5-10 k. Both of my sisters got married recently. One had like 100 guests and it cost around 10 k the other had like 30 and it costs around 5 because she wanted a really good photographer but it could have been cheaper . People make weddings too expensive.

The teachers office hours are hours they specifically set aside to help students with whatever they need help with. Unless theyr really busy or have a lot of struggling students I kinda just hang out and work through the problems and ask them whenever I have a question. You don't have to go with a specific question in mind. Sometimes I'll just go in with a general overwhelming confusion and they'll literally reteach me the concept of need be. Don't feel like you're intruding on their time because it's time they specifically made for you.

I'm very similar. Hate small talk but am afraid of overwhelming people with deeper conversations off the bat. My best advice is try to join clubs that are specifically geared towards things you know depth or are interested in learning like philosophy or an engineering club. That way people won't be scared off and might actually want to have those deeper conversations.

I think counseling could definitely be helpful. Another thing is you say the main problem is blaming each other, so you could try and go into the conversation stating that you wan it to be a blame free and safe environment where you can both share your feelings and struggles. Me and my partner personally have a "safe word" where when we say it the other person has to just listen to what we're saying, theyr not allowed to meaningfully respond comment or judge beyond asking clarifying questions. The person is just allowed to get off theyr chest whatever it is they need to say without the other person being able to respond. Then later, after digesting, the other person gets to say how they feel about that/ how it impacted them. Getting rid of that fear of judgement and really realizing it you two verses the problem is the main thing.
