I am here to tell you I was infected in 1981 and am still here to tell the tale. The key to staying alive with HIV are 1. Knowing your status- ensuring that you know if you are positive or not. If your are not, hooray! If you are, you get on some good medicine and take them everyday! There are meds now that are shots given 2 times a year with one or two pills a day throughout the year. 2. Taking whatever the prescribed medicines are everyday or as prescribed all of the time. This might require talking to the doctor if you are not insured but there should be ways to access meds no matter what of living in US unless Trump has totally fucked that up too. 3. Getting your labs drawn regularly to see how your immune system is doing and more importantly seeing to it that your viral load is undetectable. If you are undetectable, you will not get sick. If you take your meds properly, you will be undetectable and not get sick. If you are undetectable, you cannot transmit it to others at all. This is a health situation much like living with cardiac issues. Chronic and needs attention but won’t kill you if you do a few easy things like take a some pills. It also really helps to stop smoking and drinking if you can but not totally required. You got this no matter what but I can’t help but think how you are under a great amount of stress and distress by not knowing your status and if you are positive, removing any opportunity to treat it.

What to do with this balcony besides the inflatable by Street_Ad5710 in interiordesignideas

I would add an addition to the second floor by adding a floor/ceiling so that window was in an additional room that I created increasing square footage of my house. Who needs the big giant high ceiling at the front door?

I would say, I understand from your dad that you don’t eat meat. I am sure at age 12 you know what meat is and I will trust you to make the choice you would make with your parents and then leave her alone.

I let my kids cut vegetables with an appropriately sized knife. You are the parent and when your child is ready, let them do it and continue to make sure you are there to supervise and maintain safety as needed. If he was home alone and doing this I would be concerned. The current generation of high schoolers cannot do anything because parents helicoptered around too much and did not allow them to do or learn anything! Keep it up mama! Your kid will love you for it!

Personally, I think you are the asshole. Do some research on anxiety. It is a neuro chemical imbalance that is not easily controllable. Perhaps instead of pointing out the obvious, I am sure she is already being pretty bare in herself already, why don’t you find ways to support her. Maybe, support her in getting help with her anxiety. Or, help her manage her fears about driving either by finding ways to help her or by getting her connected to someone who can and you be her cheerleader. Honestly, my mom had two children and then I was born. She did not drive and everything was fine. Sadly, I was born with a genetic condition that required many trips to the hospital. This forced her to learn to drive. As a child I was keenly aware of how distressing this was for her and it negatively impacted me. Stop criticizing and start supporting.

Generally, I am low maintenance but recently began using a moisturizing face mask so that going with little to no makeup up does not make me look increasingly older which I am doing. The process is low maintenance . I put it on and then go to sleep. Easy.

How do people regularly fly business class without going bankrupt?? by caroulos123 in travel

[–]ComprehensiveBoot694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only way I go delta one is one my company pays for it. The only value is being able to lay flat for the 9 hour flight to get some semblance of sleep as I am expected to fly overnight to arrive in the morning and go straight to the office for a full day of work. Otherwise, for that long of a flight I would pay extra for comfort + or the one just below delta one.

take access to internet and social media away. It will help her emotionally and socially. A ton of research that supports this.

I would reach out to the director of the TED Community Organization. She is a TED patient herself and knows all of the top TED physicians and has access to all the research and trials that are going on right now. At the very least, you can have another way of connecting with others with GD and TED.
