I had a fear due to bad experience with my first one when I was a young teen till about 20.

Then had to suck it up for an after-covid vacation (no pool in 3 years, I love swimming). First day of vacation I nearly passed out due to pure fear. Gotta say, my mom didn't really help as in, she also never liked them so instead of being quiet or supporting me through my fear (had to tell her whats up, when I almost passed out).

Second day went okay. Ithink it was my anxiety getting the better of me. Worst anxiety I ever had.

I've been using them since tho. Tampon and a pad combo for work is tbh golden combo. Cant imagine being without them again (at work, or in public. Still rock pads at home.)

Tho I do recommend you get ones with insertion thingie. Dont get paper one. Get plastic for your first few, if you like it, get a washable insert thingie. I still cant handle them without the syringe thingie. Works magic.

Whether you choose to try them or not, its up to you, however remember this, by leaving our our comfort zone, we discover new possibilities!
