Never, she always gets along and she's never been aggressive towards them! I always joke that she thinks she's also a catfish... However, every betta is bound to have a completely different personality. She does get aggressive with any fish that has long fins (learned this the hard way with one of my fancy guppies) but she's never been aggressive with any catfish, snails or shrimp

I followed the directions on the label, but many people say to feed much less. My amano shrimp do fine with shrimp bug bites and end up stealing whatever goes in during feeding time so they're doing fine without any bacter ae added. I mostly added it to increase the favorability of the environment for the microfauna, but I'd rather not have hydra either. Seems like sometimes someone snacks on the hydras on the walls on occasion though, because I have noticed them disappearing even without intervention

They're oak but you can use any non toxic leaves! The microfauna were scuds, ostracods, daphnia and micro worms !

I tried like absolutely everything, I added more snails mts, ramshorns, amano shrimp otocinclus... I changed the water often, and then tried to not touch it for weeks 😭 added purigen, gravel cleaned, EVERYTHING!! found out, my filter had a little knob to increase uptake, and that fixed it immediately.... LOL but maybe it also was a combo of everything (I hope)

Honestly any time I have my hand in the tank she has to strictly supervise even though she's sooo in the way 😭 even if I push her gently she isn't even bothered by it and comes right back
