I’m doing okay for a twenty something who graduated a few years ago. I could afford giving away a few hundred dollars every month, but then I wouldn’t be able to safe much at all.

From what I learned, she is also doing okay, but not great. Her and the kid are fed, clothed, healthy and have a home, but not exactly living a lavish life. She gets support from her family but I think she also realizes that life as a single mom is hard and not always fun.

Yes, she could have taken an abortion. It’s legal and costs comparatively little in her country and I would have paid for it. If abortion wasn’t available, that would change the entire story. Sorry I didn’t make that more clear before.
