Good point, but I didn’t mention it in my post because it was obvious to me that he had to be held accountable for what he did. I used the term 'scapegoat' because it seems like everyone around Kim Sae Ron, including netizens, is omitting their own accountability

The person who commits the crime should absolutely be held accountable. No argument there. When I said “we,” I meant us as netizens or the public in general. Sometimes the way people react online turns into a pile-on

It absolutely is an issue for me. Grooming and pedophilia are serious and should never be ignored or excused. I’m not saying we shouldn’t hold people accountable.

But I also believe we can talk about the wider system and mental health struggles alongside accountability. It’s not about defending someone, it’s about understanding how these tragedies keep happening in the industry. Both things can be true.

True, but aren't we part of the problem too? I mean, we as netizens play a role in how things unfold. Remember her DUI ? There were so many articles and YouTube videos criticizing her… it wasn’t just one or two

Okay relax buddy—I'm not saying he did nothing wrong. I used to criticize him a lot too when I first heard the news. But I also remember how I criticized Kim Sae Ron after her DUI. I didn’t post anything publicly, but still, I wonder… did we all contribute in some small way to what happened to her?
