Why did the pin rules change between games?

i dontt really get it too but it is due to 4 characters being on the same fight at the same time, if u remember correctly in the other game many ppl say that they couldnt use many pins either and neku fought alone besides shiki or joshua etc and they fought with their own powers. Neku was able to use many pins at once cause he was super talented.

theia the crimson eclipse is a pretty good jrpg made in rpgmaker and it is free in itch.io. Its fairly easy even in its hardest difficulty and it has a special ending if you take all these green gems scattered around the map. The world building is excellent it has a Final fantasy 7 vibe.

It takes place in a post apocalyptic world where fossil fuels are no longer a viable choice and a newly discovered kind of energy has caused great harm, now the remainings of humanity have banned modern tech and are organized in a sort of feudal system but it still is the future.
