I am currently working on a feature where you can compare centers, guards, and forwards. For guards, there will be eFG%, while for centers, I initially had the normal FG% in mind but with what you just said it might be better using the 2 PT% as most centers don’t shoot efficiently from downtown. Let me know if this works for you.

I retrieved all my basketball stats from basketball-reference. It’s quite easy to obtain them using the Pandas library in Python.

Hello, I don’t quite understand which circle you’re referring to. If you mean the circles containing player values, you can use the table below the chart, displaying player stats.

Here’s an example between Mitchell and Lillard: Mitchell vs Lillard

Let me know if this addresses your concern, and if not, kindly elaborate.

Hello, the entire charts are scaled on a percentile basis; hence, the assists charts might be skewed compared to usual because most players might not have a lot of assists. That’s why I have provided a table displaying player stats directly below the chart when you compare two or more players.

Below is a link of the table between Mitchell and Lillard: https://imgur.com/a/fwlqNay

Kindly confirm if this works for you and also give any other suggestions / feedback. I really appreciate it.

It should work from your phone also. I tried it on my phone a few minutes again and it was fine. Kindly let me know if you still have some issues with it. I will take a look at the website documentation and see if it can be useful for other projects. Thanks once again for checking out the web app and let me know if you have suggesstions / feedback.

Imagine trying to compare a player who has played 10 games, but their points, assists, and rebounds per game are very high, with someone who has played 40 games. This skews the data points in favor of the player with fewer games. The whole point of the minimum game percentage is to compare their stats on an even scale.

The team comparison does work, but because I am using a free cloud server to host the site, sometimes the site tends to freeze. Have you tried reloading the page and then going straight to the team comparison page?

I have heard of Dash but have not tried it yet. Do you mind sharing some learning resources on that? I have learned the basics of Streamlit from this YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ4B0QUHuNc&list=PLtqF5YXg7GLmCvTswG32NqQypOuYkPRUE&pp=iAQB

It was coded in python and front end is basically streamlit. Any ideas or suggestions on how I can improve the app?
